She's not the brightest crayon in the box
Does she not see the problem that this country is already facing with illegal immigration,...better yet she should have to live around a bunch of illegal immigrants like i used to when they took over my old neighborhood and brought crime, all night parties and blaring music, and gangs with them. It is not fair that us LEGAL citizens should have to put up with people who come to this country illegally. No way she or anyone else who supports illegal immigrants will get my vote.
I have no problem with people comming to this country whatsoever- but do it legally!

Which people? The ones here illegally???? Let them go back to Mexico and die in the streets there...

The government does not exist to hold the hands of its citizens. The more power we give them, the more they are entitled to take from us. One person takes a handout, someone else has to pay extra taxes. How about the person needing a handout get out and get a job and pay for their own food instead of having our tax dollars go into a fund so they can eat better grades of food than us working folks do??? What a novel idea!

How about THIS idea:
All the candidates put all the MILLIONS upon MILLIONS of campaign fund dollars into a pool which is then DONATED to the United States to assist in paying for things that we NEED, like, oh, updated infrastructure? Educational programs? Social security?
Oh, but no - it is better spent on stupid broadcast media campaigns and hotel rooms and printing and postage costs so they can all promote their own personal agendas.

They AREN'T citizens, that is the point. Even if they were, people have a responsibility to take care of THEMSELVES.
Good grief, all I hear is whining about Big brother, but we sure want Big Brother to take care of our every need don't we?
THERE IS NO FREE RIDE, TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF. Then anything you DO get will be a windfall.

It's the Republican presidents that have driven up the national debt and undermined the economy. The debt went up under Reagan and the first Bush.
Clinton balanced the budget and started paying down the national debt. The economy was great under his administration.
Now the national debt has reached new and dangerous levels, the dollar is weak, the economy is tanking.
You guys need to think a little more about what really happens under Republican presidents and Democratic presidents. Don't fall for rhetoric or get distracted by non-issues.

This entire article is journalistic garbage. I would be saying that no matter which candidate was being covered.
If this type of reporting is what people are using to make decisions on who to vote for then this country is stupider than I thought possible.
If anyone actually read the entire article Clinton spent the day addressing the dire straights our economy is in, she was not addressing Illegal immigration. That quote was the beginning of a reply to someone who "shouted through an opening in a wall." Sounds like a heckler to me.
This reporter obviously is biased, making sure to note the broker spoke in broken English. What does the broken English have to do with the topic of the collapsing Real Estate Market?
FYI... I personally believe the illegals are criminals and should be sent back home to their native countries. please note the word illegal, not immigrants.

i dont normally say stuff like this, but wait until the amount of money you are being taxed makes a difference in your how you live. Or where people you know are having to move cause they cant pay there tax anymore.
the goverments job is not to hold your hand.

No it isn't, you're right. Part of it's job, though, is to provide adequately for its people.
I am actually looking forward to seeing how your taxes make a difference in how you live. Most likely it will improve your standard of living, because your taxes will be put to things that matter for the people of your country, and improving their lives, and not towards a pointless war.
If you want anarchy, no government, no taxes, then you need to accept that one of the tenets of anarchy is to open the borders and let people in without regulation or control. Somehow I think those of you who whinge and whine about the government having any control of anything wouldn't actually like that very much.
So what it's really down to is `let the government control the things that make my life feel comfortable, and keep them out of everything that might stop me from doing whatever I please. Forget about the good of the nation, what about the good of ME???' Sounds an awful lot like wanting to have your cake and eat it, too.

Where is the 275 million per DAY for the war in Iraq coming from? Why are we paying for a war that gives absolutely NOTHING to the people of this country. A war that our President LIED about the reasons for starting.

As far as illegals go, I have no sympathy for them. If they want to live here I think they should do it legally. Like every other foreigner. Living in Texas we are overrun with mexicans and that is the reason why we have as many problems as we do. Often times once they are here they show no interest in getting an education or trying to better themselves. So if they are here illegally, whether they have family born here or not, I say send them back. They knew the consequences of their actions when they crossed the border and have no one to blame but themselves.

Higher taxes do NOT stimulate the economy. I can't believe anyone would think they do.

Lower taxes do not stimulate the economy, either. Combined with government spending for wars, etc. they do drive up the national debt. Since Reagan it's Republican administrations that have left us with the highest debts and worst economies.

Yes, lower taxes do stimulate the economy. People have more money and they spend more. It is people spending money that DOES stimulate the economy.

Not if it's the rich that have lower taxes. That may be the theory but it has not worked out in practice. The rich simply invest the money on Wall Street, not helping anybody. That's why it's called "Voodoo economics."
