First shots for kitten.

My young kitten Simone is now about 7 weeks old. I have to go out of town for 10 days to care for my mom who broke her shin (she's doing well)

My fella will be home with the kitties, and I wondered if it would be too long to wait until I got back for her first set of shots. She's indoors, tested neg for FeLV and all the other cats are up to date on the full range of shots.

Kitten weighs 1 lb 13 oz now! She was 13 oz when she arrived. Wasn't sure her weight was enough to start the shots, or if that even matters.

She's doing so well. She's asleep on my chest as I type. Alternates between there and my shoulder.

And here they're done at 9 and 12 weeks - so there's a bit of variation. You're not going to miss an opportunity to get them done by being away for 10 days, just book an appointment for after you get back. I hope your mum heals fast and is back on her feet soon
