Over the river and through the woods...
I'm just wondering. When I logged on, there were 111 people viewing the cat lounge (which is possible, I've just never seen that many before) then when I went to the thread about finding her wedding dress, the opening post was actually the third post listed. When I replied, my post went above the previous post that I just read. Just wondering if we are having technical difficulties, or if I'm losing my mind (which is always possible...especially when computers are involved!)

Yep I was floored to see how many people are here. Maybe the guests will be signing up

There are some very evil people that are lurking tonight. Thankfully the mods deleted some posts before too many people saw them. Everything started going amok to bring the situation under control.

There have been some strange things today -- time out of whack for several hours, and once it sorted itself out, some other oddities were happening. It may be that it's worked the kinks out now -- one of those latter oddities was that folks couldn't get the "New Posts" search to work, but I've just done that and it did behave -- so

Well, I was hoping this pertained to my issue....apparently not. Is anyone else having to wait 1 - 2 minutes for a thread to open? I tried to open one tonight & gave up after 2 mins....I had hoped it was TCS....but this new computer with Vista, I do not like it!

That would be because of the wonky time. Posts that happened right after it sorted itself out would have been timestamped earlier than those just before, hence the weird order.

I noticed the time variance last night, too. I know we had some strong winds Tuesday, but not enough to blow me into the next time zone!
