Funniest litter quirk

I've noticed Gizmo doesn't cover his poops... well tonight I saw him in the litter box taking a poop... and then I saw him scratch the wall, the floor, the dresser, the litter guard everything but the litter until he finally gave his poop one last sniff and gave up! LOL Too cute!!!!

It's the thought that counts!

Awww bless him! At least he's trying....he probably wants to know why it doesn't work for him like it should!

Yeah it's funny how cats do that. My kitties do it also on occasion.
Sometimes they scratch the floor around their food bowls like they are covering poop.

I thought cats usually scratched near the bowl in an attempt to 'hide' their food from 'other cats'.... or because they don't like it.
