That's gorgeous!!! I can't wait to see the pics with you in it!

The bridesmaids dresses are lovely as well - simple yet, so elegant! The colour is stunning

Hope it all keeps on coming together

Thankyou everyone for the sweet comments!!! I am soo excited!!! I forgot to add - the wedding dress i chose is white, not ivory And i got a beautiful veil to go with it and a blusher as well

I'm pretty sure the bridesmaid dress i showed everyone is the one we're going to go with- but i want the rest of the girls to go with me to the store soon to make sure they're all comfortable in that one and that there isn't one they might like better

In the mean time though i'm trying to figure out what shoes i'm going to wear by tues (when i'm getting my fitting done) i'm sooo short- i need a heel, but at the same time, i had surgery on both feet a few yrs ago so i need something insanely comfy! I'm still looking around! Hopefully i'll find something soon!!

That is one fine dress!!! And the bridesmaid dresses are so nice too.
As for the shoes do you have a DSW nearby??? They have so many shoes that you might find something.

You might check out Aerosoles brand shoes. I have several pairs of their pumps that I travel to meetings with (when I need to wear heels that are comfy enough to stand and run in for 16 hours straight). I checked their web site and found these: http://www.aerosoles.com/product1.asp?P=TRAPEZE and these http://www.aerosoles.com/product1.asp?P=LOVELETTER.

Well, i'm glad i opened the dress bag I opened up the bag and was taking out some stuff and keeping other things in there i'll need for the fitting today when i noticed the veil- omg it's ginormous! It's one of those cathedral veils I definitely didn't want that one! I'm soo short anyways, the fingertip veils may as well be a cathedral one on me I'm just it simple mix up, but they gave me the wrong veil(and charged me for it too!) I have to go back today for my fitting so that the seamstress can altar my dress so i'm going to make sure they take the wrong one off my acct. and give me the right one at the right price

I'm not even sure they gave me the right blusher eithor now as i don't have the other veil to compare Snap! Now i can't remember which veil i tried on in the store that was the right one The sales associates were VERY sweet though so i'm sure they'll be able to help!

Glad i opened the bag before i got there

Most brides I know wear sneakers under their gown. No one sees your feet in a long wedding dress, so what does it matter what you wear on your feet. However if they have a garter removal "ceremony" at the reception, they change into a pair of heels or a nice slipper type shoe, at that point, but no one I know has gone to extra added expense to buy a pair of fancy heels for their wedding day.

i'm not a big fan of sneakers with a formal dress (even if nobody else sees it would still bother me That, and i'm really short- 4'11.5'' ...so i really do need a heel. I was able to find a nice pair of dressy shoes with a good comfort rating online- so when i go in the store today i'm going to try them on and see (they're not pricy eithor so that's awesome! AND i'll get a discount since i've already got my dress there) Ya! I hope they work ok!!! I'm going to put some comfy insoles in them too!

In the mean time though i was able to call a moment ago and talk to someone about the veil being the wrong one- she was really nice and said i could bring it in and they would take care of everything Their SA's are sooo nice!

Vegas is our backup plan if things get too crazy Congrats to you!

Hehe apparently i was wrong about my veil!!! I went to the store tonight and once again had my favorite sales associate (i am SOOO calling their district office to tell them how wonderful their people are and that they should get a raise or something- i swear, i have never met a more frienly group of people- they're all soo nice!) I mentioned to her that i thought i was given the wrong veil.

After about 5 minutes of confusion we realized that i indeed had the right veil- only the cathedral part was detachable! Turns out it was the correct one after all, only when i tried it on in the store i didn't have the cathedral veil attachment on as i didn't know it had one! We tried it on both ways tonight and they wound up both looking gorgeous! So what i decided to do is wear the regular fingertip veil and blusher without the cathedral attachment during the service/reception as i still feel it's too "much" for me...but since it is included- i will wear it for some of the pictures so we still get the full effect I also wound up picking out my tierra tonight and some comfy white flats to wear during the reception. No luck on shoes for the ceramony though- i went 3 differnt places to try on shoes and couldn't find ANY that were comfy and didn't hurt my feet, so i might wind up wearing the flats for both the reception and the ceramony (the dress is long so nobody would know anyways and i'd be comfy!) I'm going to go to a few more stores tomorrow, if i can't find any comfy heels i'll just wear the flats and get the dressed hemmed accordingly, we wound up postponing the alterations from today to friday so i have more time to find shoes

Aww i just love David's Bridal- i totally recommend that place to anyone that's engaged- the people are SOOOOOOOO nice and friendly, and the sales prices are great

I'm so glad your veil situation worked out! That's one less thing to have to worry about.

I loved David's Bridal, too. They were always really nice to me, and they were so adorable with my niece. My niece, who was my flower girl and 6 years old at the time, just LOVED going with me to David's. She insisted on going with me for every fitting...where she'd then play a big game of dress-up. She'd always manage to get one of the salespeople there to "help" her, and she'd proceed to try on every flower girl dress in the place...every time we went. The salespeople were always so sweet with her, and they'd go pick out shoes and accessories for her to try on with them. It was so adorable!

I love all these pretty dresses!! it looks like you're going to have a lot of really pretty girlies there and your gown is going to look stunning!! I still haven't found mine, but I know specifically what it is I want. It's very much a discontinued gown, but I'm sure I should be able to find it somewhere.

I love both dresses, Nikki! The bridal gown and the bridesmaid's dress are very elegant, and I like the green.

A few more pictures for everyone!!!!

Tierra (i tried making my own and that turned out quite badly so i just gave in and bought one i'm glad i did- it was much less stressful that way!: http://www.davidsbridal.com/accessor...&prodgroup=146

Ballet Flats (i got them in white) - i bought these for the reception, but after looking in 3 different stores and trying on countless shoes and not being able to find a comfy pair- i am most likely going to wear them during the ceramony if i can't find a comfy pair of heels soon. They're not the most cute shoes ever, but they're insanely comfortable!!! Besides, nobody will see them under the dress! I'm not sure yet, but if i can't find a good pair of heels by my fitting on Friday, i'm just going to wear these for both! http://www.davidsbridal.com/accessor...&prodgroup=168

Garter!http://www.davidsbridal.com/accessor...3&prodgroup=14
