I snapped this one while poor Cybercat was trying to have a yawn. She's just not very photogenic, and came out looking like a vampire cat about to attack the unsuspecting Sealink. And the funny thing is, Cybot is the sweetest of my three:
Then there's this one, of a cat that was a rescue project of mine. His name is Tiger and he's the biggest, squishiest furball. He was brought in when I was working at the clinic--he had come home with his foot totally mangled. The owners paid for as much as they could but it just wasn't getting better and we thought we were going to have to amputate. They couldn't afford the surgery and were going to have to euthanize him. By then the clinic had been working with him a week and a half, and we'd all fallen in love with him. We couldn't bear to do put him down when we thought we might be able to save him. They signed him over to us and we were able to rehabilitate him and rehome him. I took him home a few times to supervise him and get him out of the hospital kennel. There, I discovered that he LOVES boxes, when I woke up to this:
Something about his facial expression and his poor little stubby paw ... looks like Captain Hook, sans hook.
