Our nursing contract expired in September 2007. Apparently talks are not going well!
I just started back into physical rehab last week. I go for 4 months and then hopefully be able to start a back to work program for a few months before I return to my job.
However, by the looks of things I may be returning to work during a strike.
If there is a strike there is still "essential services" and we still work, but we don't do overtime or anything "extra" beyond our basic job description.
So hopefully they will come up with an agreement before it comes to that because I don't relish walking the picket line. I had to do that some years ago and I sure didn't enjoy it.
