benebac for loose stool?

Hi. I was wondering if anyone here has used Benebac successfully for loose stool? My cat has had loose stool for several months. It does not happen every time and the entire stool is not loose, just some of it. Have taken a stool sample to vet to be tested - didn't find anything.

If you have used it for this issue, how much did you give, how often, and for how long?

Also, any ideas of what may cause this and other things that may help?

Yes, one measured gram per day, given for about 2-3 weeks, and that cleared things up for my Ferris.

For my bengal, Max, I've used Eagle Pack Holistic sprinkled on his wet food - he HATED the taste of the BeneBac. However, the Eagle Pack Holistic CAUSED loose stools in my bengal, Penny.

So what works for one cat won't always work for another. I say, it's worth a try.
