Hello! My male, Armin is about 9 months old. He is strictly an indoor cat with no access outside. He's in perfect health, neutered.

I've been noticing these little white specks on top of his fur. He's not itching, and I have looked for fleas, but I don't see any. I have no clue what it is, so I'm looking for advice. Thanks in advance!

P.S. - His diet consists of Innova Evo dry and premium canned food (Tiki, Wellness, Merrick, etc.)

Could it simply be dander? Cats shed skin cells just like humans do.

Sounds like dander or dry skin. Maybe have a vet look at him to be sure its nothing worse then dry skin.

How often do you comb or brush?

He gets about a half a can a day. Usually it's the 5.5 oz. can.
