how did she know?

so millie decided at 2:30am today that she needed to be fed. she pestered me for at least 30 minutes before i gave in. she would purr directly in my ear, lick my face, stand on my face. i finally stumbled out of bed and in the complete dark found the dry food and the bowl and put some in. then i hear the pitter patter of other feet coming to enjoy the midnight snack! at least it got her away from me! now, my 8 year old damian does this and has for years, but she has never seen him do it to me because he won't come in my room since we brought the kittens home. millie is about 6 months old. silly millie!! guess she thinks she learned a new trick!
