Does anyone else miss the TCS smilies...

when they're typing in something else? I'll be sending people text messages or messages over AIM, and I'll find a place where I'd love to use a smiley that we have on TCS, but I can't! Like

Does anyone else do this, or am I just weird? Maybe I just lurk around here too much!

Yes, I am embarrassed to admit,
I do miss our smilies when I'm elsewhere! I love
the way they help us avoid misunderstandings,
add a bit of personality
to plain text, and sometimes provide a snicker.
I know smilies are not "cool,"
but in a forum like this, they make things so much more friendly!
