hey Whiskers, can I ask you a question about Greta? Is she a "blue" color? And did I notice that she has some dark markings (stripes) on her?

When I adopted her from the shelter they advertised her as a Russian Blue but she does not have all the traits consistent with one. My vet said she might be a mix but most likely she is just a gray domestic but I'm not an expert.

Here are a couple more shots that show her color a little better. Getting good pictures of her that really show off her color is tough, most come out too dark.

Does she have any "ghost" stripe markings?

The only place I notice any slight striping is on the tail but it is very faint. Sorry I did not answer that the first time, it was late when I replied last night. The tail striping I am referring to you can see in the first picture in the post.

If anything I would say her coat has more of a lite gray or silver hint to it than blue. It is very fine and soft but fairly thick, at least in comparison to Misty.

Misty is completely GORGEOUS...but what can I say, I just love stripy bellies! The pictures are hilarious, BTW.
