I painted another picture today...

I was so surprised that everyone liked the one I called a mistake so I decided to try one on purpose and with more colors. This is how it turned out:

I was not really happy with it. And (can you tell) I love pugs so I decided to try and add this (this is a pug I am an aunt to):

And this is how it turned out!:


What do you think?

forgot to add, I would love to try and paint Raven and Jack someday, but I am not good at real looking stuff, just whimsical looking stuff. I would also like to try and paint my sisters dear cat =^^= Rosemary.

Wow, that's really cool.

My honest opinion: add more black to the pupils in the pug's eyes.

It looks completely freaked out with the tiny pupils, and if you compare the photo to your painting, you can see there is a big difference in the eyes.

I really do like the painting with just the flowers in it - the pre-pug one.

I had to laugh when I saw that picture with the pug! Having a pug, I know that look...."No mommy, I wasn't pooping in your flowers...I was just helping you fertilize them"! I think the picture is great!! Anything with a pug sitting in the middle of flowers has to have the "deer in the headlights" look, becuase they KNOW they've been caught doing something wrong!

LOL, that is exactly what my husband said, so I painted around her pupils brown (the same day I posted the original) and it does look better, but I never took a picture.
