Riley's christmas present!

Ok, so its a late present and should arrive tomorrow.

I ordered him a new cat tree, since all he has right now is a tall scratching post that he loves to climb. He's going to go nuts! I'll be sure and get pictures once we get it all put together.

but I felt so bad watching him climb to the top and try to balance on the little end trying to look out the window so we told him if he was good on our drive to Oklahoma, we would get him a big boy tree

he will have a lot of fun in his new tree

Wow, that one's nice! I almost got it instead, but my space is limited so I went with the smaller one.

I can't wait for him to try it out He does have to share it with Akasha, the foster (probably never gonna find a home, will end up staying) cat

That is such a nice tree....I just know he's gonna love it. I only have a tall scratching post that Zoe climbs and perches on sometimes too, so I can't wait to hear how you and Riley like it. Pics please!

You have to love kitties and their toys. We have a scratching post that they can sit on the top of it, and a string hangs down with a toy on it. It's so funny when they get all big eyed and go attack the toy and then they tear through the whole house. It's so funny. I'm sure he will love his big-boy-post.

The new tree is put together and in place!

Riley was a little hesitant at first, he's never seen anything that big to climb on before! The first time he got on the top perch, he started playing and rolling around and fell off! so he was a bit scared to go near it after that. He soon overcame his fear though and as soon as he finished breakfast this morning he went right to the top to watch for birds out the patio door

I'm glad he decided he likes it....esp after taking a fall! Bless him...
