Question of the Day - January 8th

It's a toss-up between watching three first-graders manage to slosh through every puddle on our street on their way to school this morning, and witnessing how two of those oft-reviled teenaged boys help a disabled man get on a train and settled into a seat this afternoon.

We just replaced our kitchen carpet with new tile

Makes us smile everytime we look at it!

The previous owners put hideous pink carpet in the kitchen & we finally got a new floor for the kitchen.
The new floor inspired us to redo the kitchen & to clean our house from top to bottom! So happy!!

We are having a new house built without any carpet. We went to look at it yesterday. It is being done completely with "hand scraped" wood.

Um, well for breakfast I had a sausage and egg McMuffin and I think that might have made me smile...

My DH let the boy's out this morning & let me sleep in, then he went & got me a french vanilla capachino (sp) & served it to me in bed. I am so spoiled!!!

I'd have to say Finding out that my truck isn't as broken as I thought it was LOL

maybe a devious smile but, I am planning a surprise birthday party for my daughter tomorrow!

It is going to be at her house.
She has to work till 4:30pm.
So between 2-4:30 we (me & her stepmom) are going over and decorating and cooking some appetizers.
Making punch, have a cake ordered and all her friends will be there when she gets home, or shortly after for a few.

She will be 25 years old tomorrow and thinks she is old!

So if you wanna help me out and send her a Happy Birthday ecard?
that would make her day that much more special!

Aw that's just heartbreakingly wonderful!

For me it was getting home to find that the apartment is still clean!! Sad huh?

The Redwings beat the Av's last night, and Hasek got a shutout. Other than that, I haven't had a lot to smile about lately.

DH took care of my Sunday when I was sick in bed.
Yesterday seeing the sun.
