Strange bump

I was petting Gizmo last night and I noticed what felt like a nipple on his neck. When I moved the fur to take a look it looked like one of those long moles that the elderly often get. It doesn't seem to bother him at all (meaing he leaves it a lone and didn't care that I was examining it), you think I should be concerned?

If it's brand new, it might be worth a call to the vet just to see if it's something to worry about. One of my boyfriend's cats has one, and my Odo has one too. It's like a skin tag. Both boys have them in the same area, and it seems to be one of those spots that the claw might catch in when they scratch, so it could be an irritation or a cyst. Regardless, I'd keep an eye on it and definitely take the kitty in if it changes in any way.

At least call the vet..but I would bring kitty in just to be safe
