HI,

I have heard through two people that some brands of flea treatment that you put on the back of the cats head/neck have made their cats seriously ill.
These were the brands that weren't Frontline or Advantage. I'm worried about that so I just got flea collars, but I know they aren't great either. Beside I worry that the cats may get hung on something with their collars. Any similar experiences? Or opinions, advice?
Thanks, Carol

The best thing you can do is take the flea collar off and buy flea medication from your vet.
Most problems people have are with over-the-counter medications.

I URGE you to remove the flea collars immediately.

Unfortunately as the above person said, folks buy over-the-counter medications and they either don't work or cause harm to our cats.

Please see your vet, get the proper treatment for your size and age of cat.
