Question about fur mites

Our rabbit is being treated for fur mites; the poor guy is rapidly going bald

All of his bedding is being washed and because the cats play with him, I'm going to preemptively treat them with Frontline. Is there anything else I can/should do?

I know Advantage work for ear mites not sure about fur mites?

I have no idea if Frontline would help against mites - you'd better consult your vet about what to be using on the cats.

Oh, I did ask the vet when I brought Rex (the bunny) in to be examined. I told her we had Frontline Plus at home and she said to use it. They're on Feline Heartgard anyway, and that's Ivermectin, which is used to treat and kill mites. I'm really hoping that they're covered, but wanted to ask in case there's anything we're missing
