TOnight I went to a gathering with other deaf people and a man there who works kind of like a social worker for deaf people offered to announce about Penka and we got someone interested, and as it happens, we know her, and shes a wonderful woman, and we are going to take her to her new home tomorrow. I am going to miss her, but we will be able to see her every once in a while, so that will help. Right now I am giving her as much love as I can, because she has become so sweet, and so lovely.

Thanks for being here for me when I had questions.

I got an email from Penka's new mum, she is settling in well, they have dogs and the dogs love cats, and they are curious, Penka isnt used to dogs, and slapped one of them, so she is being kept separate from them for a while, but Penka is enjoying the attention, is looking around the new house, shes a nosy little one. I miss her already, but I have to be honest to say this, that Peedoodle seems happier now, hes happy that he gets more toys to himself and we bought him a new toy (supervised toy) that you put over the door frame and a mouse hangs down - he loves it and has been playing with it for a while now.

I know that toy. There was a 'consumer report' type program on TV that I saw that showed that toy. A woman bought this for her new kitten and went to work. When she came home, the kitten was dead, because the rope ended up coiled around his head. It was horrible. You definately have to keep an eye on that one.

When I go to the store to look for toys for Nakita, I feel like I am looking for a toy for a baby. Really, it is the same type of dangers you have to look out for. You have to make sure that there are no small objects that could be swallowed, any items that could accidently strangle, etc.

Yay! I'm so happy you found her a good home!

I don't know about the toy we're talking about. Haven't heard about it. Sounds scary but...I'm sure you'll keep an eye on the kitties.
