When Lorelei was in a particularly sleepy, cuddly mood, I figured I'd take a shot at clipping a nail or two. That's when I discovered that one of her claws was completely gone! I have no idea when this happened. There's no blood around the paw, but it's clearly still tender because she yelped when I tried to extend the missing claw. She's been worrying at it a lot too, but I haven't noticed a difference in her gait. I can't really get a picture of it because of where the missing claw is.

What can I do for my poor girl? She's just had one problem after another this week

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
This happened to one of our cats. We never found the missing claw. We never found any blood drops. We have NO IDEA what happened. We called the emergency vet to ask what we should do. If she's walking and playing (and obviously eating and drinking) normally and it just exhibits tenderness when you touch it, she should be fine. Just keep an eye on her for the next few weeks.
It will grow back and be just fine.

Ooops, I've just posted an almost identical query to this, should have checked for new threads before posting a thread myself!

I think that answers mine too though, thank you

Yes, thank you very much for the advice. I'll just keep a close eye on her...like I wasn't already. My poor girl, I'm really babying her because she's had such a rough week.
