You would think I'd learn

Every time I warm up pizza I get it too hot and then don't wait for it to cool before I eat it. Then the hot cheese burns the roof of my mouth. I don't think I'll ever learn to either let it cool or not get it so hot.

I do the same with either coffee or tea...I'm so excited about having it in my hands that I'll forget that its too hot and it'll burn my mouth.

I've burned myself on hot liquids/foods way too many times, so now I don't eat foods that are piping hot. I always reheat to a bit more than room temperature but not steaming, and if it's "fresh cooked", I wait for it to cool off before I eat. I've actually been known to ask the waitress to have my hot food put into the freezer for about 5 minutes before bringing it to me.

I like my food semi hot so I don't have to worry about heating it up really hot. :P

I do the same thing, especially with cookies or something fresh out of the oven!

I do that each time I am cooking and need to taste to see if I need to add more spices. I also do that with hot drinks...

I'm the exact same way. Rob always asks "you haven't learned yet?!" Heck, sometimes I do it TWICE in a row!
