I just had a long talk with my cousin (my dad's twin's daughter) and I told her that I was sorry not keeping in touch. I told her that I was still upset over losing my dad and she understood. She was also very close to my dad. We exchanged email address and she told she that she wants to see pictures for my nephew. I feel good right now. I kinda lost touch with my dad's side of family when he died.. but I feel like I am getting it back.

I know what youre going through there...but you done better then I did its been about 8 years since Ive talked to my grandparents on his side...I miss them but they say we(my brother and I) remind them too much of him he was their only child.
Good for you! Family is very important, blood or made.
I know the feeling - we went out to have Thanksgiving with my mom and got to spend a week with my sister. Due to the abuse my ex did to me, I lost out on a lot with my sister - its good that you can reunite now, before they are gone permanently
