Spayed cat in heat? Is that possible?

Hello, I'm new here. I wanted to ask a question and see IF my Gizzie is the only one displaying symptoms of going through heat after being spayed? She had a complication during the procedure and the ASPCA had to remove a hydrometra (water version of a pyometra) and took a bit longer to come out of the anesthesia. It's been almost 6 weeks since the surgery and just the other day has been bothering the male cats in the house. us?!?!?!
for your input.

Yes, it is possible, especially if there were complications. If the vet missed a small portion of the ovary (happens occasionally) then the cat will continue to come into heat on a regular basis until the ovary fragment is removed.

I would take her to your vet, preferably an experienced surgeon.

Ive heard of that a couple times on here recently! I would take her to the vet to have her checked out just to be on the safe side!! Good luck!
