Has anyone seen this food? Its a new food made by Diamond and the ingredients look pretty good. Was thinking of trying a bag of it - any opinions?

Here are the ingredients in the adult cat formula:
Chicken, Salmon, chicken meal, whole grain brown rice, chicken fat (preserved with mixed tocopherols), oatmeal, whole grain white rice, potatoes, cracked pearled barley, millet, turkey, duck, flaxseed, natural chicken flavor, salt, choline chloride, chicory root extract, dl-methionine, potassium chloride, taurine, carrots, peas, apples, dried skim milk, kelp, cranberry powder, rosemary, parsley flake. Vitamins and minerals.

Haha that's the cutest new gimmick I've seen! I don't mean that in a bad way - chicken soup food for kitties!! That's too cute. And the ingredients look pretty good. I know a lot of people that use Diamond dog foods and like them.

LOL. I know, I found the name of the food to be somewhat silly but it looks pretty good so today I went and bought a small bag to try. They all seemed to like okay but only one of them seemed to be overly thrilled with it.

What were you feeding before? If the old food had stuff added to make it addictive and/or more attractive to cats, or was overly flavored artificially, it may take time for their tastes and bodies to adjust? That's my theory at least!

They are on Innova. I just mixed a little bit of the new food in with the Innova...one of them ran over and gobbled it right up. Usually when I bring home a new food..they all come running but its also possible that they had just got done eating before I came home and were'nt really hungry since the dishes were pretty much empty. We'll see how they react tomorrow.

Sounds interesting...and the ingredients do seem to look good and healthy. Where did you find it? Is it selling in places like PetSmart and Petco?

I found it at Pet Supplies Plus. I don't think its going to be sold at Petsmart or Petco although Im not positive. If you have any stores in your area that carry Diamond....they are probably going to be most likely to carry it. There is also a dealer locator on the site here:

The price isnt bad either, here I paid about $8.62 for a 6lb. bag and the largest bag was $19.99.

You can see if there is a Pet Supplies Plus in you area here:
