Good Morning!

It is freezing here today...I think the coldest that it has been this year..brrrrrrrrrrr. The weather was brutal coming home from my sisters last night too, I thought I was going to veer off the road

Not much going on today besides freezing my buttocks off...just going to work then heading to the gym afterwards

I hope you all have a good one!

I was suppose to sub today and schools are closed. Great news for me. I had a horrible night. I couldn't sleep because my car got broken into, taking my Garmin (the one time I leave it in the car)
Plus I was watching WVU beat Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl.

Awww how frustrating that your car was broken into
Nice to have the day off at least so you take care of it...what is a Garmin?

Awww sorry to hear that your car was broken into. I think Garmin is a GPS device - like sat nav, is that right?

I'm working today, but term hasn't started yet so I have the luxury of writing reports by the fire at home
It's cold here as well in the Midlands but no snow as yet, although the weather says it may snow a little later.

Morning All!

Deep Freeze here as well -32C
Not looking forward to heading out to work shortly.

Still not feeling back to normal yet, so I guess the flu bug is going to hang around for a bit yet.

Pretty routine day ahead.

Kitties are good, all have went back to bed for a morning nap, lucky critters.

Everyone have a good day

So I am running home at lunch to have lunch with everyone. My goal is to get throught the buffet line eat, open presents and get back to work in an hour flat... WISH ME LUCK!

You guys all know I can't complain about the weather here in the SF Bay area, but remember I did grow up in NY.

It will be in the 50's all week. It will also be raining, sometimes heavy, every day but one during the current week. Yeah! We need the rain! It is usually warmer when it rains.

I used to love those snow days. Here, the only time the schools closed for a day was the day after the Loma Prieta earthquake.

It's a GPS navigation system. You type in the address or place you want to go and it directs you there. I'm so mad it's gone!! The one time I leave it in my car!!

I am hoping I hear from the job I've been interviewing for (they have a 3 interview process, I've had 2 so far). I am volunteering today. I gotta get my volunteer hours in before school starts....and before the big influx of clients come in ( I volunteer at a DUI assessment place).

Its warmed up to 3F (-16C) already!!!! But we have a blowing snow advisory to later this morning.

Not much else going on but I am finally getting my hair cut today-its been since August and sorely overdue.

Gonna head to Barnes and Noble and spend some of those gift certificates too.

Been downloading info from the web on organic farming certification. Its quite the lengthly and expensive process but since I sell below $5000/yr (I don't even sell $100/yr) I do not formally have to apply for the process!!

My sis is working on getting her CC mess straightened out-only 2 fradulent charges (plus she is disputing the online pet store one) but the two charges-well lets just say the items charges are a bit scary.

Ankle feeling better today but will wear brace just in case!!

Stay warm and have a nice day!!

Those flannel-lined jeans are great in cold weather, aren't they?

I haven't done much today (school doesn't restart till Monday). Finally got all the Christmas decorations down and stashed away, though.

It's in the teens here and going to be in the 50's this weekend. Gee I wonder why I am sick. I took a 2 hour nap last night. Today I woke up feeling like a sinus infection coming on.

Sorry so many of you are having a bad day. Let's all stay in our warm beds!

Aristotle is asleep on the monitor and I am soooo tempted to join him up there.

Anyway, need to warm up and go grocery shopping unless we want to eat sherbet for breakfast.

Why don't you claim it through your home/renters/condo insurance? Is it under your deductible?
