Thread Starter In this cafe - you're not allowed to talk about Facebook!

This is very tongue-in-cheek, but it's also true - he actually has banned his patrons from talking about Facebook in his cafe. It made me laugh, because it's quite comical, but I know there are some who will take it very seriously so I thought I'd post it here.

He jokingly referred to himself as the `Che Guevara' of Facebook. He was so sick of hearing about it he decided he wanted to promote `old fashioned face-to-face' friendships. And I can't say I blame him.

Of course, if anyone got mad enough to actually take him to court, he'd lose. But nobody has. His patrons respect his wishes and are in the spirit of the idea with him, but they could be being prudent, because I'm yet to go into a cafe/restaurant - you name it, any kind of eatery - in Melbourne and not be blown away by the food. As a whole, it's a city with amazing places to eat - everywhere you go. However this cafe has a sign in the window saying that if you want to eat there you can't talk about Facebook.

What a nutter! But good for him, I say! But considering Facebook costs Australian companies an average of $2,700 per year per employee in lost productivity, perhaps he has a point?
