Hello all,

Miss Lola was sick a couple of weeks ago (just the one vomit, nothing serious) and when it came up, I noticed that it was really dry. Since then, I add a couple of tablespoons of water to each of her meals (wet food pouches). She hasn't been sick again, she's well, hungry, active and happy. However, she does now pee like the proverbial racehorse. I used to change her cat litter once a week, but now have to do it every four days as it's absolutely sopping wet by then!

Is she ok? Should I stop putting water in her food? I don't mind changing her litter more often, I'd rather she was going constantly than have her stuck on the UTI side of things.

Any help appreciated. Mara x

What brand of food does she eat, and have you changed brands recently? Some foods have more sodium, etc., which can cause a cat to drink more.
