Buried under the cat
My roommate told me that last night she was hearing scratching in the walls above her room. We figured we had mice or squirrels or something and moved on.

Then just now I was sitting at the computer and heard meowing. Meowing, that is, coming from the wall.

Hennessy's been exploring our third, unused bedroom lately. There's a crawl space in that room that we'd stapled and taped shut as best we could. I went to check and sure enough, he'd pried it open. I meowed for him and a few seconds later, out he came (thank goodness!)

He's locked out of that room again....

Can't wait to tell my roomie I caught her mouse, and boy oh boy is it a big'n!

Oh my goodness! What a story! Poor baby trapped behind the evil door! "Hey, how did I ever get in here?"

I'm glad you figured out the issue and got him out.

I had a "that answers that" moment today as well. Our 5 month old kitten has been hiding lately--and we can never find him we shake a toy with a bell and he appears. I realized today he is going up under the recliner and hiding. Now I have to figure out how to stop him so he doesn't get hurt unintentionally.
