We keep a hedgehog boot brush by the back door. He's cast iron with bristles all over to rub shoes/boots on.
I was in the kitchen and saw Clio rubbing up one side and down the other on the hedgehog, thoroughly enjoying herself. Sam came running in and basically shoved her over so he could do it too.
I guess I must have been to busy for them to get their scritches today.

What resourceful kitties. Not only did they find a substitute, it was in sight of their Meowmy to make her feel guilty.

What clever kitties!
They will probably use it alot now that they've "discovered" how great it feels!

Geez - we've stuck those plastic brushy things on the wall, we've purchased that thing you put on the floor - I've even put the handle of the brush under something heavy enough to hold it steady on the floor to encourage our kitties to brush themselves - all to no avail! They demand to be brushed and love it - but apparently only if we're doing the brushing!

Lucky mommy and happy kitties!
