The two furkids are settling in well.
We've had the two of them just over a month. Just wanted to share some recent pics.

I'll start off with a pic for Kelly (Clixpix). She wanted a close up of Steve's eye colour but I've told her it's impossible because he won't stop moving!
Here, he was looking at some birds through the roof on sunroom and I was lucky to have the camera close:

Steve, is also growing like a weed! I knew from looking at his paws he would be a bigger cat but didn't realize how *poofy* he's getting.
I was able to get a good side profile to show you:

Some of you know that we're renovating our house. We've been installing the new kitchen this last week and Steve always has to be close by to keep an eye on things. He actually fell asleep with Rob drilling the cabinets into place!
These cats have no fear of noise, which is a good thing in our household!

Now, Gigi, has never wanted Steve to be too close to her. He's such a big, poofy goof that he usually squishes her by lying right on top of her. Of course, she doesn't usually want this and they start scrapping and the end isn't pretty.
But, in the last week, I caught them sleeping together a couple of times! It must be the Christmas spirit catching up to them.

This one makes me laugh. Steve came flying up the stairs and jumped right over her! This was her surprised expression.

And a final one of the gorgeous girl:

So, I think the two of them are here to stay.

Steve really is going to be a big boy.
He has a calm personality except when he is jumping "over" Gigi.

The look on her beautiful face is priceless.

We can never have enough pictures of Steve and Gigi.

PS...Their kitchen is coming along really well.
Keep up the good work.

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
The males really do get "poofy" as they get older. Steve's got that longish fur, so he'll get even poofier - but that's one of the ways in which we judge just how well Tuxie's doing - by his "pinkness" and his "poofiness."
When he's pink and poofy - especially when he's lying down and his neck is SO puffy - looks like he's wearing something around his neck - we know he's doing really well.

They are SO gorgeous!

I LOVE Gigi's expression in the pic where Steve just jumped over her!
And that "valentine" nose - I love pink noses outlined in black! Spooky has a valentine nose - I just want to kiss them.

They were just meant for you. How often do you find kitties who are so oblivious to the noise of renovations?

I see a lot of countertops for them to play on in their future!

Red tabbies are usually so mellow. I had one once that was so oblivious to noise that one time I had to actually lift up his tail to vacuum under it.

You have a pair of gorgeous cats!

...and you were worried they wouldn't adapt well to renovations.
Those pics are fantastic.

Awww what gorgeous kitties - they look so happy and content! I love that picture of Steve, oblivious and just about upside down on the kitchen floor while the work goes on all around him

Thanks so much Kenz!
I'm glad they are here, it has filled such a void and turned my world around for the better.

Yes, I can see it too, unfortunately.
They are having a blast running through the cupboards. We won't get the doors for a couple more weeks so pray that they're still in once piece by that time.

She's quite the personality. She has attitude, lots of love, intelligence and a crazy streak depending on the day, hour, moment or second.

Crazy, eh? I'm always thinking worst case scenerio but glad I went ahead and brought them home.

I call him the poofy goof.
He has no fear and will try to experience everything at once. He automatically brings a smile to this household! The two of them are quite a pair.
