I changed Maia's litter and cleaned her box, which is a covered box that sits backside against a wall, about 7 hours ago.....She just went in a meowing, very odd alert mode and kept pacing by her box. So when I checked I had put in in backwards! It was completely closed off to her! I felt so bad!

I have never seen her tear around the apartment after using the bathroom like this!!!!! I had to cut her off before she ran into a wall!

Don't feel bad, I have done the same thing to Pearl. One of the others chases her away from their boxes, so she has her own covered box in the small bathroom. I accidentally put hers back in place backward, and she had to resort to sneaking into the other boxes. She was sooo mad at me.

Once I had Chloe with me in the office and didn't realize that the door was closed. I couldn't figure out why she was acting so crazy and whining until eventually I smelled it and saw her going in the corner. Poor baby, I felt so awful.

Pooka knocked some towels over the top of Zeek's box once and he got DH's attention so that he could fix it--Zeek immediately used the box! He apparently REALLY had to go. But I was so proud that he wouldn't go anywhere else!!
