11-week-old kitten crying?

Our new tabby has been very active, playful, has been eating well, and is using his litter properly. But he's been crying up a storm whenever my girlfriend comes home from work. And today he had torn her room to pieces. Does anyone know what could cause this or anything we could do to help him?

Is he home alone during the day? If he is, he's just letting her know that he missed her. An 11 week old kitten needs lots of attention, 24 hours a day. You could try getting another kitten to keep him company.

I'd say he's lonesome. If you can afford it & have space....I always reccomend pairs of kitties. That way, they never have to be alone.

Go for a pair!! If you have two they wont get so lonely and wont tear the place to shreds!!

I would say the crying is just his way of saying "Oh, I missed you, pick me up and love me up!"
