Congratulations

Spyral I am passing the spotlight member of the week to you!!!

Here are a few questions to get you started...

How many cats do you have currently?

What are their names and how old are they?

Do you want any more cats?

Do you own any other type of animals aside from cats? If so what type/breed are they?

Im sure coolcat will be along shortly with plenty more questions for you

Thanks! Here are my answers:

1) One

2) Holden, he is 7 months old.

3) I am seriously thinking about getting a rescue kitten so Holden can have a friend.

4) I keep a fish tank full of African Cichlids. They are a very colorful type of fish from the Rift Lakes of Africa. Lakes Victoria and Tanganyika to be exact.

Keep the questions coming!

What type of car do you drive?

What type of music do you like?

Do you like to read? If so what is your favorite book?

What do you do for fun?

1) I am the sales manager for the Seattle branch of W&O Supply. We are the nations largest supplier of maritime pipe, valves and fittings. I supply the US Navy, all the cruise ship companies, cargo ships, oil tankers, fishing boats..all of them. One of my more famous customers is Sig Hansen of "deadliest Catch" fame.

2) I have a 2004 Pontiac GTO. It has a LOT of work done to it and is extremely fast. It currently puts down 620Hp at the wheels.

3) Pretty much what is on the radio. I am into new rock type music, but my tastes range from Toby Keith to James Taylor.

4) I used to read a lot more, but not so much now. My favorite book is The Watchers by Dean Koontz. I have read all of his books, up to Dragon Tears.

5) For fun, I work on my car, go to the drag strip or play pool. I am pretty good at pool. I also love playing video games.

I am a huge Koontz fan. You have excellent taste
And you made SOTW as a newbie!

Is Washington home or are you from somewhere else? If so, do you miss it?

What do you like about the Pacific Northwest?

Favorite TV program?

What are your hobbies?

Thanks Bonnie, Koontz really is a great writer.

1) I was born in Rutherglen Scotland. I moved to NY at age 6. I lived there for 19 years. I then moved to Florida for the past 10 year. I miss every place I have lived because I established friendships in each of them. Well, not so much Scotland, but it is home to half of my family.

2) The weather! NY had harsh winters, they were full of snow! Florida had 2 seasons. Hot and not quite as hot. Seattle has all 4 seasons and the summers here are incredible!

3) Toss up between House and Bones.

4) Drag racing, road trips and playing video games.

BTW - great choice on favorite authors!
Dean Koontz is one of my favs, too - along w/ Stephen King. And "Watchers" was my favorite book that he wrote, along w/ "Intensity" (that one had me on the edge of my seat!).

I have a few questions:

1) Who is your favorite Band/Singer?

2) Do you like to travel? If so, where would you most like to go?

3) Do you collect anything?

4) Do you have any children? How many if you do?

5) How did you happen to choose the name Holden for your furbaby's name?

I am open to any amount of questioning!

1) Favorite Band is The Deftones, favorite singer is James Taylor.

2) I no longer like to travel. I used to. This job I have, however, killed that. I took 56 flights last year alone. As far as where I would most like to go? Hawaii.

3) I collect die-cast cars and dragons (statues, painitngs, anything with dragons on it)

4) No kids.

5) Holden is the name of an Australian auto maker. They are a division of GM. They produced my car, the 2004 Ponitac GTO. It is a rebadged Holden Monaro that is sold in the USA> They only made about 40,000 of them over a 3 year period. it is a kind of rare car. It has the same engine and transmission as the Crovette. Holdens logo is my avatar, a lion. I figured it fit as a good name for the kitty!

Here's a couple from me

What made you decide to get a cat, and more specifically, Holden's breed?

What is your, at least to you, biggest vice?

What is your favorite kind of food? Italian, Mexican, etc.

Do you speak with a Scottish accent?

What does your username mean?

Favorite breakfast cereal?

Now that you live in Seattle, or you addicted to Starbucks? If so, what do get there? if not, do you drink coffee at all?

do you have any siblings?

How did you get into your line of work?

Do you text message a lot?

I think that's it for now!

1) I wanted a pet to keep me company. I saw Holden on Craigslist. He was being "cared for" by a 15 year old kid. He was hiding Holden in a dresser drawer so his Mom wouldn't find him. He was only 7 weeks old and the kid had him for 2 weeks. I felt so bad for him. I gave the kid $30 for him, kid said Holden was a Ragdoll. He was going to set Holden free in a parking lot at the mall if I didn't show up to take him. it was pouring rain and cold that night too.

2) Smoking, I really have to quit.

3) Italian food!

4) If I want to, I can. 30 years in the USA has pretty much depleted it.

5) When I was 16 I stole my Dads Corvette and took it to school. I was doing donuts in the parking lot and got caught by school security. They wrote "Suspect was doing spyrals with the car" the name stuck.

6) Apple Jacks!

7) I love coffee and have a Starbucks account! I am on a Vanilla Bean kick right now.

8) Two sisters. One older, one younger. Susan (younger) is a doctor at University of Kentucky. Michele (older) is a (and I am not kidding) free range chicken rancher in Puerto Rico. She is a hippy.

9) Kind of fell into it when I fell out of love with the computer industry.

10) Not too much.

Thanks for the interesting questions!

Where is your favorite place to be?

What do you do to de-stress?

What is your favorite food?

What is your favorite movie?

What is your dream car?

What do people do that annoys you the most?

What chore do you hate the most(except for paying the bills)

At what point did it hit you that you were no longer a child/teenager but and adult?

What is the dumbest question you have ever been asked?

Do you have any regrets?

Where do you see yourself in 20 years?

At what time do you usually go to bed and get up?

What habit aside from smoking do you wish you could break?

What is something you havent done in a while but would like to get back into?

1) I am a home-body. I like being at home and relaxing.

2) Video games and the internet.

3) Sausage and peppers sub!

4) Reservoir Dogs

5) Ferrari Enzo

6) Interrupt me when I am trying to speak

7) Cleaning the shower. Why should you have to clean it? I mean, you go in there and use soap and shampoo, it should always be clean! Same with washing towels. You dry yourself off after taking a shower, you should be the cleanest you ever will be! How can a towel get dirty?

8) When I was 17 and went off to college. I had to buy things like groceries and do my own laundry.

9) "You want fries with that?" Of course I want fries! Sheesh!

10) I let my fiance go three years ago. I was immature and afraid of being tied down.

11) Retired and living on the East End of Long Island, NY.

You hear a knock at your front door. You open it and there stands the celebrity of your dreams!

Who is it and what plans do you have for him/her?

I have a few!

Since you live in Seattle, have you ever heard of the Roloff family?

What color is your hair? Your eyes?

Does Holden talk to you? What does he say?

If I were in your home and saw something orange, what and where would it be?

What's the fastest you've ever driven a car?

Toilet tissue...over or under?

When you were a child, what was the naughtiest thing you ever did?

Nope, have not heard of them.

My hair is drak brown, as are my eyes.

Does Holden talk to you? What does he say?

He does, in fact, talk to me. Usually he says, "Wake up, I'm hungry" and "Is that for me?"

If I were in your home and saw something orange, what and where would it be?

It would be an orange and it would be in the fruit bowl in my kitchen

What's the fastest you've ever driven a car?

187mph, I have ridden a motorcycle to 218mph at Maxton

Toilet tissue...over or under?

Over and under.

When you were a child, what was the naughtiest thing you ever did?

I set my house on fire
.
Good questions!

Okay, a pyromaniac who drives 187 mph and you want him to date your daughter? Not mine!

What famous person, living or dead would you like to meet?
Are you a Jeopardy guy or a Wheel of Fortune guy?
Would you skydive if you got a chance?
If time was not an issue, would you travel by train or by air?
Have you been to Europe?
Do you speak another language?
