Rock Band!

My husband somehow managed to score one of only thirty copies of Rock Band sent to Van Isle. What a fun game! The only downside is the guitar quit working after only two days. (They are sending a replacement but the customer service is not great.)

Does anybody else have Rock Band? What do you think of it? What is your favorite instrument?

The drums are hard, I think, and I don't sing very well, but I'm trying them all in my current quest to have a childhood. Better late than never.

The audience boos you off the stage if you play badly. Not that I know that. Here's a link: http://www.rockband.com/

My younger son got it the day after Christmas They come home from work and have long concerts. My daughter, who can't carry a tune in a bucket, is the default singer. The older son hogs the drums and the younger son has the guiter (he can actually play and owns two very nice electric guiters). They want to get an extra guitar as soon as they find one.

Have fun!

I wanna try it but I have a Wii and it's only coming out for the XBOX 360 and the PS3. But I'm sure within a couple years, Nintendo will realize how successful it is and will buy the rights for it.

My mic is always saying that it is unplugged. Tho the controller is lit up. Dunno what's up. Just tried doing a solo tour and it didn't work.

I dont' know anyone around here that has it. I'm not a singer, so I'll just stick to Guitar Hero

I now realize how little I actually know the words to songs. It's quite humiliating Luckily I play with my SO and roommate in the privacy of our home.

Hubby tried to get it for NYE but they only had it for PS and he has X box 360.
So he was out of luck! ( Whew! ) I can't carry a tune if I put it in a backpack.

My brother got it for X-mas - it was fun, but drumming was hard!

I stick with Guitar Hero III (Rob's brother got it for Xmas, and I haven't let him use it since he opened the gift wrap!!) I have yet to see anyone with Rock Band yet, although I HAVE seen the guitar package and the drums at Wal-Mart a few times.

I don't have rock band but I have guitar hero. If rock band is as addicting as GH i better steer clear. I haven't seen the sun in weeks. lol

We have a guitar that works now... how fun! You don't have to know how to sing... if Joey Ramone can (could) belt out a 60-second song, so can you.

Sounds fun! I saw that at Best Buy...looks hard. We have Guitar Hero III. Scott bought it on my birthday when there was a great deal at target. I still need to practice before trying career mode by myself...
