hyper cat

So I know that catnip makes cats hyper and active. My husband likes to give our kitten some catnip every now and then just to drive me crazy. I never give him any because he's such a high strung cat to begin with. Is there any kind of herb or anything that calms cats down?

You cannot un-kitten him but you can play with him to wear him out a bit. Play with him interactively with toys. This may give you a reprieve for a bit while he sleeps Kittenhood goes by too quickly. Take lots of pictures!
