Cat Smells Bad , What could be causing this?

Hi , was hoping that somebody may be able to help. Have just obtained a cat from a friend , the thing is her fur smells really bad , really stinky. Shes quite old (15) , I dont know if this is anything to do with this. What do you think could be causing this , any suggestions?

Hi, Thanks for the swift reply. I feed her the whiskas pouches , I put cat biscuits out but she does not really seem to like those much. Not sure when last vet check was as only had cat a week or so but will definately take her to vets for a check up.

KITTY needs a senior panel and likely teeth done ...

Could be Kidney too Yoshi smells from his Kidney Problems. The vet said its the keatones causing it. Not sure if I spelled it right.

If she checks out fine for physical problems, then I suggest you give her a good bath. Older cats don't wash themselves very well and an occasional bath would help.
