I didn't realize they weren't known to be tall! We have a few Amish communities around us and they use standardbreds and they are all fairly tall horses! (I got to the Amish horse sales a lot)

They are gorgeous horses!!!! I've only seen a handful in person. One thing I've noticed is that they are expensive horses even if they are a mixed breed or unregistered. Grulla or Grullo (I've heard booth
) is the dun's version of black. The color Dun has a diluting gene that's why they are always light colored. Dun's have a stripe down their backs and bars or stripes on their legs.
