Vixen got the colour right! It's Silver Dapple.

Here's an added hint and an extra question. The son of the horse I showed earlier being ridden in the show ring.

I still need the breed of these but now there's an extra 250 points for the gait

Yay!!!

Now the breed... I find it easier to memorize Colors than Breeds ((well I know the simple breeds))... Hmmm.... is it a Fell Pony??

I'll have one more go!
My last guess is a Welsh pony and he is either racking or pacing..no wait...he has one foot on the ground...which could be a canter.....
You might as well tell us!! He and his sire are beautiful whatever they are!!

Ok they're my favourite breed of horse and the only type I've ever owned or ridden for more than 20min in total.

Icelandic Horses

The gait is rack or well call it tölt but I was going to give points for rack as well. It's absolutely fantastic to sit.

Here's a really good clip that shows the gait in motion:

You can hear a perfect four beat rythm and you can see the rider barely moves. They sometimes hold a beer glass full to the brim in one hand when riding particularly smooth horses in shows and it doesn't spill. It's really fun and comfortable to ride. A lot of horses don't go quite that fast though and don't lift the legs up that high. Mine didn't but he was great though.

Wow! Their gait is even smoother than the Tennessee Walking horses! I read about Icelandic horses a long time ago, and had totally forgotten about them! They sure are gorgeous!!

Aww, I know this one, my favorite breed.
As I don't need the points and it's not a difficult question, I'll leave it for others to answer.
