We went to the SPCA today to just look at the cats and sure enough they had a little 8 week old long haired kitty. He was the youngest they had available for adoption. We looked at some other cats but he kept meowing at us so we asked to see him. He immediatly stole our hearts and we got the paperwork signed and paid the adoption fee. He is recovering from a URI and is on meds but other than that, he's fine. He's playful and SO DARN CUDDLY! Neutered and vaccinated.
His name is Ramman, which according to this name site, means "thunderer". It was raining outside when we got him and he's a stormy gray color, so it fits. Not to mention he meowed the whole way home. We get a free vet visit coupon from the SPCA so we'll be taking him to the vet hopefully tomorrow for a look over. Right now he's on my shoulders, using me as a scratching post. I want to be mad at him, but I can't. He's just toooooo cute!
