Ryan has gone back on his insulin. I tested him earlier today and his number was up there.. so I called his vet and she told me to put him back on insulin. Ryan was doing so good. I don't know what happened.

He amazed his vet the first time when he was on insulin for only 9 days. He isn't himself but he is eating. I know that he will bounce back from this.

I hope too. I really didn't expect this.. but he has diabetes.. so it comes with it. He is doing alright.. even though he isn't himself. The main thing.. he is eating. When he got really sick.. he didn't eat. I know that he will be fine.. but I still worried about my baby.

Stress, like we experience during the Holidays, can be enough to send the numbers up. Also, higher numbers can be the first sign of illness - so keep doing the great job you are doing of watching out for him.
