I realized this might be best in a thread of all it's own in regard to cats and poisonous things they might eat.

The APCC (Animal Poison Control Center) can give you good advice that is backed by actual science and veterinary toxicologists - which can be helpful as a LOT of internet sites given really BAD or even dangerous advice on what can be fed to your animals.

Have a Poison Safe Home:

What to Do If Your Pet Is Poisoned:

10 Most Common Toxic Plants:

Potentially Dangerous to Pets:

Toxic Plant List:

NON-Toxic Plant List:

Want to send someone flowers that HAS a cat or kittens and want to make SURE that it doesn't have ANY toxic plants in the arrangement so you can be sure it is a SAFE gift? Well the APCC has approved certain bouquets and arrangements as being non toxic:

(make sure you give that link to anyone that might buy you flowers! )

Curious is something is poisonous or not and want an actual authority to weigh in and give you feedback?
Then Ask the APCC!
