Last night DH and I saw Juno as our Christmas movie. This film takes us on an adventure with a 16 year old girl who finds herself "with child". As she wise cracks her way through the entire process we find that she is masking her fear, dealing with things beyond her age level, and finding out who she is.
This film does a lot of things well. The script and casting is spot on, it's believable, and it doesn't give a "rosy" picture of a young girl having a baby.
However, it doesn't totally live up to it's hype. Trust me it's a good movie, but with all the teen pregnancy information in the news lately with Jamie Lynn Spears it didn't hit all the right cords with me.
Also, as a side note this film is neither Pro-life or Pro-choice.
