Just wondering if all kitty cover up their poop the same way mine does. She practically builds a mountain over her poop. Uses all the surrounding litter to stash it up. And I always got a good laugh when I wake up in the morning staring at her masterpiece. A high pile in the the litter box!

Farley digs alot but doesn't actually cover anything so Demetri will go in after him and cover it up, making a mound.

he spends a good few minutes making sure he covers it up. And even after all the digging it may not always be covered up..but guaranteed half of the litter is outside the tray!

Missy is the same way but Junior is more like Farley. He'll spend 5 minutes scraping his paws on the sides of the litter box but rarely actually manages to move enough litter to cover his mess.

max just does a quick cover, but scratches the side of the box for a while. sophie is quick in and out of the box, she doesn't like anyone seeing her in there. millie....my millie, well, first she needs to scratch half the litter out of the box before she even gets in, then she needs to dig a bare spot in the box where she wants to pee, then will scratch the other half of the litter out trying to cover it up. what a messy kitten she is! max gets upset/curious after i scoop the box and need to go in a "fix" how i just left the litter.

Snow digs all the way to the bottom and then goes and then scratches the covered sides for a long time and has never covered her stuff. I sued to try to teach her at first but then ppl at this site said that's the way she will be so I didn't bother. Audrey digs a small hole goes in it and covers it with 2-3 swipes.. she's very good and has good aim.. sometimes if it bothers her before she goes, she'll cover what snow left out in the open. lol
