I got myself a wireless mouse for my Christmas present and I'm not sure I like it. I've got a quick question for those who've been using these: when the mouse sits for more than a few seconds, the next time I use it to move the cursor there's an extremely short but noticeable lag before the cursor starts moving. I'm using to instant response. I'm guessing this is the mouse going to sleep to conserve batteries? If I'm correct, can this be turned off? I haven't installed the SetPoint software that Logitech provides for its mice because it's 55 MB and the Mouse control panel itself does everything I need. I suppose I'd install it if I could get rid of this wake-up lag. But Logitech doesn't provide any info on their site of exactly what the software is for. It appears to be an application, NOT a driver.

Ah, sorry, that wasn't all that quick after the explanation, was it?

Thanks. I guess it's one of those things I have to adapt to. Computers are good at that.
