After trying to get my girl past the rodent ulcer (which is nearly gone now
), the personality changes b/c of the steroid medications, she started sneezing yesterday!!

A little bit of history...The last time she had a URI was about a week after I brought them both home from the shelter in July. My boy was sneezing at the shelter; that was the only symptom he ever demonstrated. He was put on antibiotics for a week and he was better.

I had to take her back to the vet twice, a week after depo-medrol and antibiotics, she wasn't better. In fact, she got worse, sneezing blood and green stuff.

I really hope she doesn't get that bad again.

Don't wait to take her back - She should be tested for rhinotracheitis.

Thanks for the info, Larke. I read up on rhinotracheitis online, and that seems to hit the nail on the head for her.

Today she is just sneezing, and her little nose is red. I'll take her to the vet Wednesday.

poor baby, make sure to keep her eating & drinking. If she's stuffy, she might not want to eat because she can't smell it, so feed her stinky stuff!
