RIP Tobi

My cat Tobi died yesterday. He was hit by a car.

As some of you may have read, he was having some hard times, and I had planned for everything to get better for him when I moved house in a few weeks time and he would become the only pet. Obviously his time was up, and I'm just glad he died a very quick and painless death.
He was sauntering across the road in the middle of the day, and a car hit him. He looked as though he was just asleep - we thought there was the possibility that he was just unconscious, but after rushing him to the vet, the vet said that he was definitely dead, and it appeared that he had died almost instantly.

It's a terrible thing to have happened, but I can only be thankful for the way in which it happened and the fact that he's in a better place now.

Thanks for all your condolences, it's nice to know that there's somewhere where people get how difficult is when a long-time pet dies. Most people say "So? Can't you just get a new one? Kittens are cuter anyway"

Kittens may be cuter, but its almost impossible to replace the love that you have for one that you've lost....you'll love others, but its never quite the same. RIP Tobi.
