Can anyone recommend a food that is good for excess gas issues in cats.
My cat Pixie has been nick-named Stinky Girl because of this particular problem. I have identified foods with excess chicken as one culprit.
Any thoughts on the subject would be appreciated?

a wine bottle cork? lol...just kidding. I really have no idea. Holden has yet to pass gas..that I have been aware of. Maybe you could hang some dryer sheets off her tail?

Greetings; new to this board. I'm LauraG from lacey Washington.

One of my cats, Etta was gassy as a kitten. Felidae has the same cultures added to it as to yogurt and that helped. It's largely chicken though. You might want to see if kitty will eat a bit of plain yogurt off of your finger.

In any case, after a few weeks on that brand, she stopped being gassy.

If chicken is one issue ...

Natural balance , Natures variety both make chicken free drys

gas is usually caused by soy , wheat and chicken ... dairy can also cause...

check to see if the food has probiotics ( l bidofilus, acidophilis , casei are a few of them
