My poor baby Crystal has a upper respiratory infection.
She looks so miserable..stuffy nose, sneezing, coughing and gooey eyes. I took her to the vet today and she got some antibiotics.

But I am getting ready to change vets. We have been taking our animals to this same practice since 1971 and I hate the thought of having to switch but they are getting so darn expensive!

Crystal also needed eye ointment but they wouldn't give it to me because I was $20.00 short and they couldn't wait a few days for it! (which they have done in the past without issue)

I can see if I were a newer customer, but we've been loyally taking our pets there for over 30 years!
They used to work out payment options with you but not any more...

That stinks!! I hope she feels better soon!
My vet requires payment up front too, but they will hold a check for up to two weeks! Which is really nice because my kitties dont normally get sick when I have cash on hand!

Thanks sharky and glitch.

I don't know the name of the ointment.

She ate very well yesterday and her eyes aren't as gooey so I guess the Clavimox is working.
So maybe she won't need the ointment after all.
