thank you both for the links. some stuff on the pages i never knew, like garlic? i always heard it was good for dogs.

by the way, what is the best dog food in your opinion. The vet said that Dixie is a little under weight and she wont eat dry dog food for some reason. At 5 months i wouldnt think this is a problem with her teeth, but maybe i am wrong? Or possibly her last family spoiled her to table scraps??

At five months she is likely in the middle of teething ... you may want to moisten her dry or give her canned...

what are you feeding and what do you want from the food???

Garlic is a catch 22 ... it is safer in dogs than cats but still can be dangerous

Since we got her on monday we have been using the bag she was sent with which is puppy chow, and since she refused to eat more then one or two kibbles of it, i gave her some canned cat food because i was worried. I was hoping someone could tell me something that she might actually eat, and maybe gain a little weight on. I dont want her to be obese but she needs a little weight, and the not eating thing has me a little worried. Oh i also offered her some Ol' Roy that our older dogs eat and she wouldnt eat it either.
