Hi,

Got my kittens done today, they seem ok, but Blossoms stitches look really long to me, the bits at the end, they are sticking out quite far and I'm worried she is going to pull them out. She is going back to vets day after tomorrow, but do you think I could snip the ends off? Or did the vets leave them long on purpose?

All advice gratefully recieved, seren xxx

I would leave them alone until she goes back to the vet office. If she does start chewing at them, she might need an e-collar. They are called "tags" and are used to pull up the knot during the suture removal. If they are unusually long, you can call the vet and ask them about it.
